Anne Robinson has become the highest paid British woman on television in the past five years. She's had numerous face lifts and botox, transformed her figure and her career. This is a great memoir especially as she did write it. It's witty and passionate telling her early days in Fleet Street, her battle against alcoholism and the battle to gain back her daughter, Emma. It's well written, humorous and traumatic and shows a lot of courage.

Love her or loathe her, you would be hard pressed not to admire someone who writes with such openess and honesty about her alcoholism. Her story is one of courage and determination. A very good read.
