This was an excellent book. I've kept for years, but finally decided it is too good not to share.

Based on the lives of Sam Houston, the Father of Texas, and his Cherokee wife Tiana. Poignant.

This author was recommended to me by a BC friend. Looking forward to giving this book, as well as Ride the Wind, a try. I love expanding my horizons and reading experiences!
Thanks, shoutscout - and hello herbwench!

Beautifully written epic story.

Realizing I'm honestly not going to be able to give this book the time it deserves, I'm sending it to ladytrucker53 in MO - for an extra surprise RABCK - with Ride the Wind by the same author.

Enjoy!
