An OK thriller that attracted me somewhere in the U.S. during a vacation because of its supposedly S&M theme. There's a suitably shady black lady attracting the main character in a convoluted plot, but unfortunately the bondage thing is little more than a narrative gimmick -and the story is a bit too Grishamish (meaning: some *really* far-fetched episodes and a few preposterous twists). It is, however, harmless and mindless fun. Style is efficient although, Larry, that's using the sentence "their eyes locked" to death!

I gave this book to brucaliffo, who might soon be able to release it somewhere where people do read english!
