I'm the first to confess that I really like what I've read of Robert Goddard's work. I like how his characters are normal people in un-normal circumstance. What starts out as a simple, well-intended lie twists into the lifes of 3 generations. I like Goddard's narratives because although they end up in the most improbable of places, they start off so innocently. You can see how one of your neighbours or a co-worker could find him or herself snared into the web.

This is a really good read. I recommend it highly and hope you enjoy it as well. It's going to be released this weekend; I just don't know where yet.
