The mailman brought this to me yesterday. I plan to take this with us to our cabin when we go up after Christmas. I sincerely enjoy the peacefullness of Pilcher's work and the cabin is a perfect place to venture into her world.

Even though the ending is rather predictable (IMHO) it was still a wonderfully written story.
