Alfie
6 journalers for this copy...
Picked this up yesterday thinking that I'd wild release it, but since the new version of the movie has just come out, I thought I'd offer it as a bookring first.
Here's Amazon's take on it:
"Alfie's not really a bad guy. It's just that he has this overwhelming desire for the ladies. You might say that 'birds' are irresistible to him, sort of second nature. There's Ruby - 'A lust box in beautiful condition'; Clare - 'You're all lathered in sweat, Alfie'; and Siddie, and Crala, and Annie - but who's counting? Certainly not Alfie. Three in one evening if necessary. And necessary is the right word."
So, the ring, as it stands, is short and sweet:

sistert
Eucalia

Received in the mail today. I'll finish up the book I'm on now and get started on this. Thanks!
Whoops! Received this sometime last week and didn't get a chance to journal it. Good timing as I was sick in bed for 4 1/2 days so I finished it over the weekend. A hilarious and touching story. It was mostly fun just reading the British slang. Then hubby went out and rented the Jude Law version (Jude Law... YUM). Anyway, interesting to see how the two stories criss-crossed each other. Just need to contact Eucalia so I can get this little book on its way.

RELEASE NOTES:
What a fun little book, though I have to admit there were periods where I really was so bothered by Alfie's attitude toward women that I reading became an exercise of patience.
I have made numerous attempts to contact the BookRing's originator and sincerely hope that all is okay.
Since I couldn't make contact, I have added SpaceyStacey, at her request. This is on its way to her today. The Tracking # is: 0305 1720 0000 8692 9291
