Synopsis
Miranda is housesitting for her daughter and Italian son-in-law in Venice. The Palazzo Bobolino has attracted a selection of British waifs and strays who all want to experience the real Italy. It seems that only Miranda is immune to Venice's charms, but the past is always just around the corner...

My oh my, it took me quite some time to brace myself and read this...what was I so afraid of? LOL! Jokes aside, I am in a period where I have just one ring with me, so I can indulge and read also some of my TBR.
Anyway...at the beginning I was a bit sceptic, because I didn't like the people that much, but then the story got more and more funny, and the final is just a fairy tale, but maybe because of that just nice and ideal for these hot long summer days.
My favourite character? It has to be Miranda, really...and her lost boyfriend! What a couple!
The book is ready to depart to far away shores...happy reading!

This book arrived today. Thank you so much for sending it to me. The bookmark is lovely. Thank you for the post card as well.
Looking forward to this one.
Looking forward to this one.
Well, this was a lighthearted romp in the romantic city of Venice, where anything can happen, and does, in this delightful and zany story. I enjoyed it and will keep it for my next virtual bookbox.
This book is now on its way by surface mail to debbie4osu, who chose it out of the Coffee, Tea and Dessert VBB. Hope you enjoy this one.
I received the book this afternoon, and am excited to add it to Mount TBR. It looks so interesting, and the bookmark included was so thoughtful! Thanks for organizing the VBB-happy to be a part of it!
February 2012-finished and will be available to go somewhere. Just haven't decided what to do just yet.

This book was given to my sister, so she can put it into the General Literature VBB started by bookstogive. I'm hoping someone picks up this story based on the title, which is very fitting to the story.
Caught this from my sister and am now sending to Tennessee.
to Tennessee as a request to bookstogive. Enjoy!!
I selected this great sounding book from the General Lit VBB, thanks so much for offering it! I am looking forward to reading it and then passing it on. Love the bookmark as well!
I nice little story that broke up my normal mystery/thriller reads.
This one was selected from the Yummy VBB on Bookobsessed, enjoy!
