I picked it up today at the post office. I'll start it as soon as I finish the bookring I'm currently reading.
Thanks CrazyTabasco!
Thanks CrazyTabasco!
I finished reading the book this afternoon -it took me less than two days!
I really enjoyed it. I saw the film a few years ago, and usually when I like a film I also want to read the book. In that way, I get deeper into the story and I understand it better. This was true in this case too.
It is a very nice story, almost magical. Through Vianne's "intuition" you get to know better most of the people involved in the story. It just seemed to me that too many things and changes happened in too short time.
The only negative thing is that you're going to have a problem if you're on diet! I woke up this morning with the first rain of autumn... and the first thing I did was to prepare a hot, thick chocolate to drink! ;o)
Thanks CrazyTabasco for sharing this with us. I already have Isandre's address, so I'll mail the book to her on Monday.

Mailed today to Isandre.
Thank you ! For the diet, I received today about for a French author, Serge Brussolo, about people making a very strange diet ! I will read both at the same time, and so I hope I won't take or lose to many pounds ;-)
