This is one of those books that begins with a breathless, engrossing chase, taking you into the story with one riveting prologue. Starts fast and doesn't let up so fast. As one reviewer says: "lock the doors and windows and turn on all the lights". A spine-chilling and intense book, it was my introduction to Tami Hoag. I didn't regret it.
