really enjoyed this book, was quite different. have left it for the organist to find[another bookcrossing person]

Lucky I found it, actually :) Nice to have such a well-travelled book too.
17/12/05 - Starting reading the book this evening. Looks a great read.
24/12/05 - Enjoyed reading this one. It was a nice, easy read. Gave a nice fictional insight into the lives of a mother and daughter from Tahiti. Will release sometime soon, possibly at Bookcrossing Convention in Dunedin.

I found this behind a statue in the Basillica. I'll comment on it once I've read it.

Picked up at tonight's meetup.

A sweetly entertaining book about family life.
I think this is the first book by a Tahitian author that I've read, and it was interesting to compare it to other Pacific authors - there seems to be a distinct rhythm to the writing, and to the stories themselves, quite different to that of writers in the European tradition.
