Ah, the trials of 12 year olds and the mysterious first kiss. When I first read this, at about 11 I think, I liked it, but even then it was a little, shall we say? - cheesy?
Now, skimming through it as an adult - I can't help but laugh. It's a good kids book, but not something I'd call 'timeless' literature! :o)
