A wonderful book for teens or any adults who know teenagers...
I loved this book- and not for the reasons I had been expecting!
Being of Japanese decent, I was expecting to connect with this book on a cultural level. However, I found that this book was a wonderful story about a teenager, her struggle to understand her parents, and the importance of adult mentors and role-models in her life.
Personally, this book helped me get back in touch with my teenage-self and better understand the teenagers that I work with.
