I saw the movie on TV several years ago, enjoyed The Secret Garden by the same author, and thought I'd read this and release it. Bought at a thrift shop.

A children's classic I hadn't read until recently, A Little Princess is an unusual tale of a very unusual child. It seems very unrealistic that any child could be as "good" as this one, especially one who has been treated as badly as Sara Crewe was.

Sent in a package of RABCK books after Hurricane Katrina. For two monhs I thought I had lost EVERYTHING, all my books, but once allowed in the city, our house had no flooding. Thank you for this book and I'll write again once I finish this. It looks great! I received SO MANY books that I'm going to put this under "Available" but plan on getting thru each and every book. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness. P.S. This book is probably every little girl (an boy's) favorite. A wonderful story.
