Delighted to come across this book during the 2009 World Convention. While I don't like all of Fiona Kidman's writings I really enjoyed this one when I read it many years ago. This copy will end up on my Permanent Collection.
Not surprised at all that Boreal picked this up as suitable for bookcrossing; it would be her sort of book. She has a keen interest in genealogy and decided to put BookCrossing sentences on the bottom of genealogical message board items. Seeing one of those intrigued me. I contacted her and have never looked back.
Boreal - hope you don't mind if I keep this one. It won't help bookcrossing but I'll find an extra to release to make up.
Boreal Sorry I didn't actually look to replace this but if or when you ever shifted you will know the difficulties that arise when you have to reduce your hoard of books no matter how much you loved them.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Great NZ author! Wonderful genealogical type adventures.
Sorry I've kept this so long; am in the middle of tacking to shift houses and this turned up just asking to be released.

Hope the finder not only finds this but finds it to their tastes.

An interesting account of the journey of a small religious group to New Zealand. I've made a commitment to read more books about my adopted country and this is a good start.
