I've been reading this book on and off for several weeks. I dove into it originally, but then it bogged down. I didn't quite finish the chapter on Enid, and I didn't even try to read the chapters on Kundry, Dindraine, or Ragnell.
I really liked the chapters on Igraine and Nimue. I felt the chapter on Argante was lacking somehow.

I really enjoyed reading this book! So much of the Arthurian stuff I read is very fictionalized; I found it refreshing to read something that was trying to tease together a different view of these women by looking critically at historical Arthurian texts. I loved the Goddess-interpretation of Gwynhwyvar and I liked that the book didn't try to pick a side when it comes to Morgan's varied portrayals, but tried to explain some of her development into the catty sorceress/ healer. Loved it! I'm going to keep it in my PC for a while at least.
