Prevert is a playful writer, his language full of wit, thoughtful observation and kind-spirited melancholia and all with an eager pleasure in experiment - that's how I remember it. I liked this book a lot. So did my mother, and thus I now have a 196something as well as this 1988 edition - one extra. Really hope a gentle soul will find this one, and that it will provide him with a smile for the day (if so, tell me about it on http://boston.abuzz.com/interaction/s.291258/discussion ;-)

Left it this afternoon on one of the tables, someone should have found it, but is (s)he online? Wonderful classic coffeehouse by the way, of nearly Central European elegance, and ... great cake. Also don't forget to visit Tropismes next door, it has some beautiful graphic novels.
