I really enjoyed reading about the author and her life,... the background story that came with the recipes..... The recipe's are great .... a good book to have in case of emergencies for all has been tried and tested. Hope the next reader has fun with this.

(addit 15 Sept 09 [after reading the journal entry below] ..... I thought I'd add a note to say that guinevere69 picked up this book at our meet-up and took it to New Zealand for the Bookcrossing Convention in Christchurch, last year.)

Was thrilled to find it, heard an article about these books months ago on the radio, so knew just what it was when I saw it on a table outside the Tai Tapu store. I Fancy myself as a cook so was extra thrill to see it was a cookbook. It has got a bit wet and gone a bit Moldy - but never-the-less a positive experience.
