Hard to imagine that I went this long never having read The Great Gatsby, but I found it at a yard sale and picked it up. If you haven't read it, chase it down - you will be effortlessly transported to a different era.

Another book left downtown by UrbanKitten. When I saw that this was so close to my work, I ran over to pick it up. Especially since I've never read The Great Gatsby. Shocking! Hopefully I'll get to it soon.
I probably would have gotten a lot more out of this book if I'd read it in high school, and been forced to think about it and discuss it. Instead, it seems like a interesting, beautifully described vignette. But I enjoyed it.
Picked this up at the meetup. Since getting into the classics I have always wanted to read this.
