Man, it took me forever to finish this book. Not just because I was really busy, but just because it was torture to get through. The italicized parts were especially difficult--way too much description and words I didn't want to look up. Plus, the blood, self mutilation, and suicide was just gross.
The characters were pathetic too. The story is about a drug user who wants to be a ram and get chased by wolves and die in lava. In the meantime he found a pathetic woman who clung to and supported him because she had nothing better to do I guess.
