WILD RELEASE NOTES:
sent to Firegirl as part of a trade. Enjoy! =)
Caught today in postal trade -- thanks so much! Am looking forward to reading this and then will put it into my memoirs/biographies virtual bookbox. Thanks!
I thought this book was just okay. Clark's life isn't any more interesting than the average person's, really, and I doubt the book would have been published if not for her pre-established fame. What I found interesting was the glimpses of life when she was younger; the rules governing Pan-Am stewardesses, for example. It's a quick enough read, though, and I would recommend it to fans of Clark's work. For the general biography/memoir nut, though, I think this is one that could be skipped.
Thanks for sharing, mlburgess2! I will now make this available as part of my virtual bookbox.

Received - thanks! After seeing this in the the virtual bookbox for a couple of rounds, I could no longer resist!
I really enjoyed this book! It is, indeed, a quick read but I liked reading about her rather ordinary life. I've read some memoirs from famous people and found it was more about "name dropping" than anything. This book is more about the everyday type of life and what MHC did to become famous herself!
I'm sending this to my "12 Days of Bookcrossing" exchange partner, Three French "Hens" aka Kitc"HEN" Priviliges!!
Got it as the of your absoultly wonderful and creative 12 Days of Bookcrossing package! It really put a smile on my face, which makes me feel bad becuse I admit I have been to finaically pressed and in a creative slump to yet put the package for my partner together. (However I daresay this package has given me a much needed surge of inspiration.) Anyway, while I admit I have never read anything by this author I love love memoriors so I think I will enjoy this. Who knows, maybe reading her story will make me a fan! :) Thanks again! :D
