I got this to read after seeing the Charlton Heston movie when I was ten on the 4:30 Movie. The story of the painting of the Sistine Chapel written like an epic soap opera (not a bad thing!)

Just received in the mail from LaRue. Thanks! I can't wait to read it...eventually :)
Got at the BC Gathering on the 21st; this is the first chance I had to journal it! Thanks, choclaholic.
Wow. It's a very slow read, but an excellent book. Certainly not light reading. But Michelangelo lived a fascinating life. I also loved reading about what it's like to be a sculptor, to have that kind of creative passion inside. This book is indeed well-named.
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it is yours.
Sorry, now that this is back in my hot little hands, I can't let it go again until I read it.
Back onto Mt. TBR it goes....again!
