Splintered Icon
2 journalers for this copy...

This is an advance reader's copy of the book. There is a letter from the publisher on the front cover (of the advance reader copy) which touts it as "in the tradition of The DaVinci Code". In the sense that it deals with religious icons from the past, I guess that's true. But I did not find it nearly as compelling as The Da Vinci Code.
I do have to say that this isn't my favorite genre of books to read. I haven't read all that many and of those have only liked a few. This was not among my favorites.
I do like reading advance copies and this one has not been released yet. Maybe it will strike someone else's fancy.
I'm going to take it to the Meet-up tonight . . .

My first "catch". Missed the meetup group (work is such a bother at times) but saw the release so went for coffee and a book. Have been intending to read the Da Vinci Code. I hope this will be a good primer.
