I just realized I forgot to write a comment on this book which I read quite a while ago.

I've always liked Margaret Atwood's clear, precise prose. Even though some ideas in this book might not be as new or maybe even shocking as they probably were in 1970 (like Ainsley planning to have a child but not the father - good Lord!*g*) this is still a highly enjoyable and ironic look on female identity and modern society.

Edit, 2.4.: This book is going to LadyIndigo01 now, one of the winners of my Birthday & Easter RABCK draw. Enjoy!

received in the post yesterday. There is nothing better than getting up on a Sat morning to find a book shaped parcel on the doormat! Thank you for sending me this one - I will be back to journal it once I have read it

I found this a strange book. I liked the way it really showed Marians psychology. I didnt enjoy it as much as the other Atwood books I have read, however there were pieces that had me laughing out loud!
Thanks for sharing.
