Has some very very funny sections, but about mid-way through I started to think that the author was pompous and irritating. Just when I thought about packing it in, it started to improve and ended almost as well as it started. It was our first book club book and it was LOVED by some and HATED by others. So give it a try, maybe you'll love it.
