I read this back when it first came out. I just came across it at a library sale and decided to purchase it to make it into a book ray!

Received today as a RABCK from Mamikaem! Thank you very much! I have been wanting to read this for a while.
This book was among the generous boxes-o-books that BCer tobysrus brought me on this very hot day, as part of her downsizing/decluttering efforts. I read this one back in the '80s, but don't recall getting swept up in Auel's universe; still, I know it's continued to be quite popular. It was even adapted to the screen in a 1986 film.
