I really like Susan Elizabeth Phillips' books. I read this one way back when it very first came out and loved it. Alas, that book was passed on to another bookcrosser. I found this one at the library book sale for .25.

The kitty book this morning was picked up real fast so I'm leaving this one in about the same place.

Part of my "THE IRA IS IN TOWN!!" Releases.

I was at IRA (International Reading Assoc.) in San Antonio and found the book in a window at a hotel. It was so exciting because I'd never heard of this program and think that it's great! I even plan to write a grant to buy books so that my students can "release" some of their own next year. I'm sure they will be as excited as I was. Also, the book was WONDERFUL! I have so much going on with the end of the school year that I thought I'd wait until summer break to read it. However, I started it on the plane home and couldn't put it down. Now it's ready to be released again! Thanks for introducing me to this wonder idea!
