This is a teen/mystery series starring Jenna Blake, a college student who dabbles in amateur sleuthing on the side. The problem I had with this book was that it did seem very "amateurish" even for Young Adult. I thought the plot was rather flat, the characters uninteresting, and the investigation extremely unproductive. I never really felt that element of danger for the heroine...which IMHO is essential in a good thriller. The series is no longer published which doesn't surprise me. Christopher Golden never really had a good handle on this character.
