I'm afraid I may have missed something by not reading the first two books of this series! Others may enjoy this more than I did; it was a little cutesy for my taste and kind of silly.

Set in the retirement villa called Camden-sur-Mer, 2 women, Angela Benbow and Caledonia Wingate, are interested enough when there are 2 murders on the grounds, but become involved when there is a third. It seems that a new resident, turns up dead shortly after accusing Angela of stealing her brooch. But what does this resident have in common with a soda-machine vendor and the man who so nicely takes care of the grounds, both victims of the killer? This is what Angela and Cal hope to find out.

Sorry, but this one was way TOO obvious for me. You might enjoy it as part of the series, or you might enjoy it as a cozy; I think I like a little more challenge.
