It is a series of stories that trace ownership of a Vermeer that had been hidden at a professor's house.
On its way to Frybaby. I mailed the book today.
Got it today. Thanks!
Like many books lately, I started this and then put it down for a couple of weeks. Picked it up the other day and finished it off that evening. I enjoyed the format of going backwards, telling the events leading to how the previous person came into possession of the painting.
relaying to khillz28
recv'd for a relay from frybaby..thank you!
a very enjoyable book, telling the interesting story of the life of a painting. Where most stories start at the beginning of a story, this one starts at the ending, telling the history of the painting to the beginning. It was a interesting twist.
sending to herbwench...enjoy!
Thanks so much for sending this as a RABCK! I've been looking forward to reading it for a long time.
