Dean Koontz is a prolific writer. But he frustrated his editors. He's write some that were out-and-out horror stories. Then he's write some that were (mostly) romance.

So they felt that this would confuse his readers, and had him write under a number of pen names. This was one of his "Leigh Nichols" books.

All Koontz is good Koontz. No matter what name it originally appeared under.
