An excellent story based on the lives of Guenevere and Arthur with a new twist: Guenevere is the pagan and Arthur the Christian. This seems more plausible considering that Christinaity was realitively new at the time and Matriarchial societies still held sway in many areas.
The first novel in which I actually found Guenevere likeable, instead of a simpering, spineless woman the way she is usually depicted.
