The Last Camel Died at Noon
2 journalers for this copy...
I bought this book or was giving this book in my sophomore year of college but the reading for my classes got in the way. I still haven't read this book but I know more or less what happens in it as I've read books after this one in the series. The Last Camel Died at Noon is a fairly major tangent for the series. I am still planning to read this book.

Ho hum. Elizabeth Peters tried to do H. Rider Haggard. I suppose if I liked H. Rider Haggard's books, I'd have liked this book. But I don't and save for a few entertaining scenes, The Last Camel Died at Noon dragged on and on.
