Had read this some time back, but it was definitely worth a re-read! I like Trollope's work, she seems to have a really good understanding of families and relationships. In some sense, this is quite a bleak book. It revolves around 3 sets of children, whose parent's have variously died, divorced or split up. Whislt the adults strive to find and maintain loving relationships, the children (of all ages 8-25) have to come to terms with grief, missing their parents and accepting the changes in their life. The ending is never a simple happyily ever after with Trollope, but is more ambigous!

I will release this for the Book Aid International Challenge (Mon April 18th)
