Loved it, this is my second Annie Proulx read (after Shipping News) and I am now a big fan. Love her writing style and the density of the prose is is entrancing. A brilliantly thought-provoking examination of the diversity and conflict between the immigrant groups that make up America.

I have put it on my pile of books to read, but it is one that I have been meaning to read for a while, so I am looking forward to it. I loved the Shipping News so I hope it is as good. Picked up at the June Meetup in Leeds.
Jimi.
I really enjoyed this book - I didn't want it to end! After I finished it, I was convinced I wanted to go out and buy an accordian, but I got talked out of it by my neighbours...

Remaindered at Bookcrossers, I might read it though, on the TBR heap.
