Very quick reading book, but a wonderful, fantasy filled story, almost makes you believe in magic. Makes you think though....

I just picked it up this morning and am looking forward to reading it. I caught it at the Keewatin Town Service after seeing it listed on the net.

I enjoyed the premise behind this story but came away from it with too many unanswered questions. I feel there must be a prequel that I haven't read and don't know about. I find myself wanting to know more about how these extraordinary children and their guardians came together. In this story, I'm not satisfied with the explanation of how replacing internal organs can also reverse outward signs of aging and...what happened to the woman who disappeared without a trace at the beginning of the story? How was she made to disappear? I need to know more to really enjoy the tale.
