Somehow, I never got around to reading this book, so I'm going to set it free - hopefully, the person who finds it will enjoy. . . . .

I "caught" the book this afternoon. It looks like a book I will enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a book you could read a second time and enjoy it just as much as the first time.
I dropped off another book at Dessert Tray and found this book waiting for me! Thanks, angelmist!
I'll report back after I've read this book.

I think the author did a great job of creating Dolores as a believable and interesting character, flawed but sympathetic. And I also was amazed by his ability to write from a woman's point of view. I enjoyed most of the book but I started to lose interest toward the end. Issues were introduced in what seemed to me a very trivial and distracting way. I wondered if the author was thinking, "What other contemporary problems can I fit in?" And there is one big coincidence near the end that seemed strained to me. It's hard to describe in detail the parts I didn't like without giving away too much so I'll stay quiet.
Overall, the book was entertaining and a worthwhile read.

This book had been on my top ten "Most Wanted" books for a long time. I've heard so much about it, and really wanted to read it, but no one I knew had a copy of it. I tried finding one released in Portland last week at a Starbucks, but it was already gone. Then, at tonight's Portland BC Meetup, I was looking for a book to take and saw this, and pounced on it! Once I finish Ya-ya, I am moving on to the Red Tent, and then this book will be next.
Can't wait to read it!

I bought this book at a garage sale in Ellensburg for 50 cents. I've read it before, and was thrilled to see it again. It will grace my book shelf with its presence for years to come!
