Enjoyable enough yarn, based in Florence around the time of the Medicis. Not sure that women would have that much freedom, even ones that comparitavely rich, but decent enough story nevertheless

I handed this book, with a strong recommendation, to a group of NZ expats living in Surbiton, London, about 2 weeks ago.
