A well known academic finds a secret.....
Disappointing....a lot of descriptive verbage that seems to have been added to show off the author's skill whilst trying to disguise the fact that not an awful lot goes on.....it's a short book that could have been a lot shorter

Interesting but not that interesting.
Adopted daughter finds out who her mother is and decides to find out more about her. At the same time the father of the child this woman murdered is hunting her.

Found this unbelievably slow at the start. Must have been more than half way through before I wanted to find out how this was going to end. But even at that point it still wasn't the most riveting read ever. Very descriptive/wordy.
