I took this book from the huge pile available at the Bookcrossing meeting in Gouda.

Wat zonde dat niemand dit boek nog gelezen had! Nou moet ik eerlijk bekennen dat ik het zelf ook waanzinnig lang op mijn plankje had liggen, maar nu ik het tijdens mijn vakantie gelezen heb ben ik blij dat ik dat gedaan heb! Ik wist niet goed wat ik moest verwachten van een boek waarvan het verhaal zich afspeelt in een historische setting maar het beviel me prima. Spannend verhaal en ook nog leerzaam. Ik ga 'm hopelijk loslaten hier in Australie, maar misschien dat mijn vrouw 'm nog wil lezen voordat ik dat doe...

ENGLISH:
I loved this book. I had it on my book shelf for quite long but I'm glad I finally took the time to read it on my honeymoon in Australia. I loved the historic setting of the book and the way the writer describes and explains everything.
