Newbery Medal Winner, 1994. A brilliant, imaginative, and rather sobering story. Some books I read and forget; not this one.

Controlled release to amoebastar at the Ferndale/Royal Oak BookCrossing Group Meeting.

Arrived today. I have a couple of other books to read first, then I shall start on this. At less than 200 pages it will not take me long. Thank you!

I read this book in one day. A wonderful story. Makes you think. Although it would be nice to have less chaos in our world, I wouldn't want it to be all the same, without colour. And with no memory of the past.

This will be going in the mail on Friday.

Thank you for sharing!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

I finished reading this book yesterday. It was a thought-provoking story on so many levels. And the ending was so far out there that you can't help but think about it later, again and again.

I put this in the mail to the next person on the list today. Thanks so much for sharing with me!

I enjoyed this book. It was very intriguing and a quick read, only a couple of hours. I have to admit I would've liked a little more from the ending, though. As soon as I hear from Beloved49 (looks like she's on vacation) I'll be sending this her way.

Journal Entry 12 by Beloved49 from Lynbrook, New York USA on Tuesday, September 6, 2005

Although this book was written for teens,I think all who read this will both learn from what it has to say and never forget it. A wonderful read. Stunning in it's concept of life without memories and love and the ending will never leave me.
This Book is on it's way home. Thank you for sharing amoebastar.
