Now finished! This was an odd read and my opinion of it changed several times during the course of the book. Firstly it was amusing, then annoying, then boring, then strange, then i was just reading to the end of the book... it is completely alone in the books i have read in terms of language and style.
This book is now available for anyone who would like to read it.
'It consisted in large part of the engineers and reasearchers who had built the Heart of Gold - mostly humanoid, but here and there were a few reptiloid atomineers, two or three green sylph-like maximegalacticians, an octopodic physucturalist or two and a Hooloovoo ( a Hooloovoo is a super-intelligent shade of the coour blue). All except the Hooloovoo were resplendent in their multi-coloured ceremonial lab coats; the Hooloovoo had been temporarily refracted into a free standing prism for the occasion'
