Writteng from an intriguing point of view!
Picked up this nice hardcover in the Lincoln Law School lobby after seeing it released ... Thanks lawprof!
Everyone seems to be reading this one; glad to have found it. I plan to read and release.

I am going to lend this out to my mom; asking for it back, though. Maybe she'll register with BC ...
Will be sending this one to natasha17 when I am done reading it.
Received back from my mom, who, alas, did not register with BC. She reports that she didn't really like it and felt that "a better writer" could have done a better job with the unique material. She only finished it because she wanted to know what happened, but was irritated by the task "about one-third of the time."
Well, despite this less than stellar review, I plan to read this ASAP and send it along to natasha17.

I thought this book was pretty darned good, and it definitely gets an "A" for originality.
I was very engaged in the book, despite having a "yuck, yuck" reaction to the subject matter. My only problem was a few dull chapters in the last third of the book, but the end worked for me.
My only real beef is some confusion over what Susie Salmon's (the main character) full name was. She refers to herself as Suzanne near the beginning of the book. And at the end she is again called Suzanne. But on page 98, her grandmother calls her Susan. Am I just dense? Or is there an inconsistency here?
Well, this one is now off to Natasha17 -- thanks for being so patient!

Wow the post office was fast on this one! Thanks for sending Lovely Bones to me, moogytee!
I've been looking forward to reading this one, especially after reading about it in the forums. So I'll probably give it a little more advanced a place in the TBR stack, then find other readers to pass it on to.
Thanks again!

I just can't seem to stay interested in this one. The story idea is interesting, but I'm not really fond of watching people's lives fall apart after a tragic death.
I'm sending this on to KatrinaKennedy, and back to Sacramento it seems too! Maybe the book really liked it there?
