2 journalers for this copy...
Cover of this book differs to that shown above.
The front cover says "A magnificent saga of love, war and Russia", and indeed this story by Paullina Simons truly is. A story that is full of tragedy and great love, The Bronze Horseman kept me captivated right through its 664 pages.
I read The Bronze Horseman from a library book back in 2001, when back then I did not know that there would be a sequel. As soon as a sequel did appear (The Bridge to the Holy Cross), I wasn't going to wait around for a library release. I bought the book immediately.
Wanting to release The Bridge to the Holy Cross for Book Crossing, I wanted to find a second hand version of The Bronze Horseman to go with it. Having now found a second hand copy, I hope that on the release of these two books that they both will remain together.

I've just torn through Paullina Simons' The Girl in Times Square, so only whinged a little at taking this book, and its weighty companion, off Unbalanced hands!

I was absolutely captivated by this book and its sequel. Paullina Simons tells her tale of love, war and Russia with confidence and great skill. A wonderful novel.
