I first bought this book about 10 years ago, started to read it, and then put it down when I was about 100 pages or so into it (that might sound like a lot, but I barely made a dent. This is a looooong book -- 673 pages). I keep thinking I'm going to pick it back up again one day, because as I remember it was pretty good, just not what I was in the mood for at the time, but I decided to register it on BookCrossing instead. Let's face it -- if I haven't read it in 10 years, I'm never gonna read it. It's time to let go.

Hopefully someone else out there will make use of it!

Here's the blurb:

This is that rare, spellbinding novel in which myth comes alive and magic reaches out to touch us. Tigana is the magical story of a beleagured country struggling to be free. It is the tale of a people so cursed by the dark sorceries of the tyrant king Brandin that even the very name of their once beautiful home cannot be spoken or remembered. But years after their homeland's devastation, a handful of men and women set in motion a dangerous crusade -- to overthrow their conquerors and bring back to the world the lost brightness of an obliterated name: Tigana. Against the magnificently realized background of a world both sensuous and brutal, this masterful epic of a passionate people pursuing their dream is breathtaking in its vision, and changes forever the boundaries of fantasy fiction.
