The Silence of the Lambs

Ok, this is definitely not my cup of tea. I get nightmares reading fairy tales. (Hey, wolves eating grannies is scary).
This is going to a new home - yay. Possibly being included in a bookray/ ring with its companions Red Dragon and Hannibal, by MysteryMish.
Got this as a RABCK from hunnyb. This is so cool - I've wanted to read the whole Hannibal Lecter series and found the other two books at a yard sale I happened to walk by. A few days later, hunnyb offered this as a RABCK on the forums! Can't wait to start the series, but it may be a while as I have a stack of rings to get through first. I do plan on sending all three out as rings.
Wow, I loved this book! Totally suspenseful and the plot was "deep" for a mystery - i.e. lots of threads came together at the end. It was definitely gory though - I had to put it aside several times when reading while eating. Hannibal Lecter is an incredible character, and it was great to have read the first book of the series "Red Dragon" first. This book can easily stand on it's own, but I did enjoy the references back to book 1. Here is a link back to book one in the series, Red Dragon:

Mailed today to Drusillamac via surface mail (4-6 weeks). Enjoy!
I caught this book in the post a few days ago. I'm looking forward to reading this!
I had already seen the film version of this book so there weren't as many surprises for me. I did enjoy the development of the relationship between Crawford and Starling which plays a key role in later books. I seem to have read this series back to front as I read Hannibal some years ago and it's only now I have got round to reading The Silence of the Lambs.
Off to Witchie when I get an address.
EDIT: 04/11/2005 Sent this to Witchie via the post this afternoon.

It's with me now! Thank you, Drusillamac and MisteryMish! I might take a bit getting to it, as I have a couple of rings in front of this one, but I'll try to be as fast as possible!
