Go, Jane! How lovely to read about a woman who playfully, unabashedly seeks out multiple sexual partners when she's in her 60s, and her suitors at least that old. No one is idealized in this funny, honest memoir, least of all the author. A life-affirming women's book.

What a treat. First to hear from a friend, turned Bookcrosser and then to receive a copy of this book. I look forward to reading this and passing it on. Thank you.
I enjoyed reading about this woman's adventures with romance, but mostly her interest and excitement towards the continuing exploration of sex in her life. We women rock.

A wonderfully sexy and honest non-fiction account of a 66 year old divorced high school teacher who is fed up with the total lack of romance in her life. She places a "personal" ad in the NY Review of Books and waits for the mail. It arrives very soon, tons of it. The author, Jane Juska, separates the wheat from the chaff and gets on with her new life as a very desirable "older woman." This memoir is witty, intelligent, and even poignant in places. I loved it as much as I came to love the author, my hero.

Hurrah for Jane! She's a true risk-taker and adventure-seeker. Parts of the book were quite interesting and I was able to lose myself in them. The fact that this is a non-fiction book, however, made me acutely sensitive to the fact that she is sharing her most intimate thoughts and actions. As a result, there were sections that made me cringe with embarrassment for her. Jane is someone I'd enjoy having as a friend, but I'd probably spend a lot of time trying to convince her to be more selective and dump the guys who didn't make her happy.
