This beautiful book was part of a sur-purrrr-ise holiday gift parcel from the ever-generous Ottawabill! Can you imagine the excitement this generated in an 11-year-old and 8-year-old? The elder, very familiar with Sabuda's work, couldn't stop exclaiming over the intricacies of the designs.
Milton, in this case, was more interested in the box (he must have smelled Sammy and Alexander) and in eating the Christmas tree.
