Factoring Humanity
2 journalers for this copy...
In all honesty, I hated this book. With it's barely disguised religious overtones, and poorly developed characters, not to mention the oddness of the back story (in my opinion, an exploitative attempt at capitalizing on the imaginary sexual-abuse witch hunts of the last 1980's), I found myself less than halfway through it and wanting to throw it across the room. I did manage to read it all the way through, partly in the hope that it would get better (It almost won a Hugo award. . .), and partly because I really was curious how he was going to end the story.
Not surprisingly, I was disappointed in the ending.
I'm sure there are tons of people who will love this book (it did almost win an award . . .), so I am releasing it in the hope that one of them will find it.

RELEASE NOTES:
I picked this up at the Seattle BC meetup - I admit that the talk of religious overtones in the first journal entry has me a little worried. Hopefully I haven't stumbled into another Orson Scott Card-type experience...
