I just learned of the book crossing in a newspaper article in the last week or two. Then as I sat in the Donkey Cafe having a double expresso I saw this book sitting on the window sill next to me and I picked it up. I was thrilled to have found one of the bookcrossing books. I think it is a great idea and I have numerous books that I will certainly pass on. The book had a note in it from someone who chose not to take the book but wanted to give the previous reader a message. Here it is "I threw away (and ripped up) your bookmark as it was a receipt which had all your credit card info. This is dangerous. Be careful." Thought I should pass this on right away even though I haven't read the book yet. I teach students in a Nanny training program so I hope to pass the book on to one of them. thanks!
