Snow Crash

I enjoyed the first half of this book more than the second. However, one thing that I really appreciated was how Stephenson set the story in a futuristic world and never explicitly explained anything. He used terms that he invented as though they belonged to the real world. The reader had to find out what these new words and inventions were solely by how they were used by the characters in the book. Not easy to read, but refreshingly enjoyable.
